Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited people, care notes, prayer tracking, task management, your Today dashboard, and biometric app lock. There's no time limit and no credit card required. You only upgrade when you need Life Groups, Insights, or team features.

Premium is for individual pastors who want Life Groups, Categories, Insights, and the ability to link up to 10 accounts. Teams adds everything a multi-staff church needs: an admin dashboard, seat management with invite codes, team-wide aggregate insights, life group oversight across all members, weekly email digests, and leader reassignment.

Teams comes in four sizes: 10 seats ($79.99/mo), 25 seats ($109.99/mo), 50 seats ($159.99/mo), and 100 seats ($259.99/mo). Each seat gives one person full Premium-level access, managed and paid for by the team admin. You pick the tier that fits your church and can upgrade or downgrade anytime through your Apple subscription settings.

No. Never. Care notes are always private to the author. Team admins see aggregate activity counts, like how many visits or prayers were logged, but never the content of any note. This is a core design principle, not a setting.

ShepherdLog is currently in beta and will be launching soon on iOS and Android. The app is built with React Native, so the experience will be consistent across both platforms. Stay tuned for availability announcements.

Your data is never deleted when you change plans. If a team admin downgrades from Teams, all team members revert to the Free tier but keep all their data. If a seat is revoked, the member's account goes to Free with their data fully intact. You can also export your data anytime from Settings.

Most church management platforms try to do everything (giving, events, volunteer scheduling, website building) and treat pastoral care as a small checkbox. ShepherdLog does one thing exceptionally well: pastoral care and life group management. It's mobile-first, private by design, and built to be simple enough that your whole team will actually use it.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. ShepherdLog is built on Supabase, which uses enterprise-grade PostgreSQL with row-level security. Every user's data is isolated at the database level. Add biometric lock on your device for an extra layer of protection.

CSV import is on our roadmap for a near-future update. In the meantime, adding people is quick. Most pastors have their core directory entered within a few minutes. If you have a large congregation and need migration help, reach out at support@shepherdlog.com and we'll work with you.

Your data is never deleted. If you cancel Premium or Teams, your account reverts to the Free plan and you keep full access to all your people, notes, prayers, and tasks. Premium features like Life Groups and Insights become read-only. You can re-subscribe anytime to pick up right where you left off.

ShepherdLog requires an internet connection to sync your data securely. This ensures your information is always backed up and accessible across devices. We're exploring offline support for a future update.
